Installed at the Mas du Pont de Rousty, where is the seat of the Camargue Regional Nature Park and the Museum of the Camargue, Horizons is the first stage of the project Paths of water, an event Marseille Provence 2013. Tadashi Kawamata has proposed a work in which the viewer enters and circulates. It may as well look at it from the outside and the inside, multiple points of view.

Horizons is an open door on the trail of the Museum. Referring to the structure of a nest or the prow of a ship, work, visible from the trail and the road départementamentale, is both an invitation and a landmark.

Following a workshop held at the Museum of the Camargue from 20 February Horizons was launched on 1 March 2013, the Mas du Pont de Rousty through programming Marseille-Provence 2013, European Capital of Culture, in the presence of sponsors, the artist as well as representatives of the PACA Regional Council, the Regional Natural Park of the Camargue, the city of Arles, the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Fondation de France and the Marseilles-Provence 2013.
