This mill was built in 1627 in La Loube, to the north of the village, and supplied the village with flour. It had several successive owners, before once again becoming the property of the commune in the 19th century. It operated until the middle of that century, but only on four days a week; on the other days, the water was reserved for watering gardens. After the death of the last tenants in 1985, the mill was destroyed following a decision by the municipal council. All that remains today is the paddle wheel, which is in good condition.

Although Notre Dame de Piargue is of modest architectural beauty, it faces an exceptional landscape; opposite its old walls lie the magnificent Alpilles, which inspire visitors to stop and admire one of the most harmonious views in this corner of Provence.
