This mill was built in 1627 in La Loube, to the north of the village, and supplied the village with flour. It had several successive owners, before once again becoming the property of the commune in the 19th century. It operated until the middle of that century, but only on four days a week; on the other days, the water was reserved for watering gardens. After the death of the last tenants in 1985, the mill was destroyed following a decision by the municipal council. All that remains today is the paddle wheel, which is in good condition.

Saint Honorat Abbey in Tarascon was founded in accordance with the wishes of a layman, Rostaing de Gantelme; having survived the massacre of the Sicilian Vespers in 1282, he ended up in the Lérins Islands, opposite the city of Cannes, while fleeing the Italian coast. There was a Clunisian monastery on the islands at the time, founded by Honorat of Arles in the 5th century. Rostaing de Gantelme swore to found a Benedictine monastery to prove his gratitude to God. He was not to fulfil his promise, which was not executed until 1352, by his grandson Jean, Seneschal of Provence.

It was a major base for the urbanisation of the Roman colony and the current district still contains the remains of some of its structures, particularly the amphitheatre, theatre and ramparts. Furthermore, the remains of the first cathedral complex have been revealed on the south-east corner of the district.
