Paint otherwise in Sandrine Christophle. The workshop took place in a former sheepfold, a local of a hundred square meters. This place, open and friendly, in addition to the space dedicated to work, you will find a sitting area where drink a tea or coffee or simply discuss. There is also what hang many paintings on the walls, and an upcoming exhibition or the next opening of an artist painter or artist cannot delay. I expected you for an internship or a simple visit to discover my paintings.

The Arlaten Museum, the departmental ethnography museum founded at the end of the 19th century by the poet Frédéric Mistral, is a 'place of memories' of Provençal society. It is the result of feelings of belonging, as expressed during the 19th century, and has helped to perpetuate them in the following century. Although the old building now focuses resolutely on the future, time has passed, leaving its mark on the buildings. The time has come for the Arlaten Museum to undergo extensive renovations, not only to the building but also scientifically speaking.

Founded under the influence of the work of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, the Hôpital de la Charité (now called the Employment Exchange) was an addition to the extensive hospital and charity facilities of 17th century Arles. Begun by the Archbishop and dependent on the generosity of sponsors, the site took 20 years to complete. The establishment was intended to take in beggars, care for them, feed them and teach them a trade. It was primarily a place of confinement to prevent vagrancy and operated in these buildings until the Revolution.

Albaron Church existed in the Middle Ages and depended on the château of the same name. It was originally dedicated to Saint Vincent and became a parish church in 1230. It was ruined by the Religious Wars and rebuilt in 1638. It was paid for by the faithful, thanks to the resolve of Archbishop Aubert de Barrault and donations from Don Antoine de Rampelle. It was destroyed during the Revolution. The current church was built in 1884.

The Assomption Church dates back to 1325. The forecourt of the parish church is accessed via the 19th century monumental horseshoe staircase. On the forecourt near the Town Hall, at the bottom of the church, a decorated cast iron cross sits on top of a stone altar where the priest of the commune would officiate under certain circumstances. This cross replaced an old wooden cross which supported a very large Christ. The first church was within the village of La Savoie, at the foot of the château ruins.

The parish church is of 13th century Romanesque origin and was dedicated to Notre-Dame-de-Bethléem. It was replaced by the church of Saint Agatha, patron saint of the village. In the 17th century, the building was facing ruin; restoration work was started and later completed during a more extensive project in 1760. Worship had been banned at the church, as the building was judged too dangerous. A master mason from Tarascon built the chancel, sacristy, bell tower and two chapels (Sainte-Agathe and Sainte-Vierge).

This mansion could in fact be called Clémens, as it is to François de Clémens that it owes its rich 17th century architecture. The mansion is attractive, comprising a 15th century building renovated in the 17th century; it is one of the most beautiful mansions in the region of the château, combining the ideal Classicism of the Renaissance, a range of details, layout, structures and refined décor. It has four inner courtyards.

The Hôtel de la Lauzière testifies to the social climbing of large Arles families in the Classical Age and the architectural mark they left on the town.
