In Antiquity, cemeteries were always outside the walls of the town and were often located along major roads. At the start of the Empire, cremation graves, sarcophogi and mausolea were dotted along the side of the Via Aurelia, creating a vast necropolis. However, the cemetery became extremely significant during the Paleo-Christian era, with the inhumation of the martyr Saint Genest and the burial of the first Bishops of Arles, who were placed in a chapel later surrounded by a large number of tombs grouped together in several rows.

The western part of Orgon's first ramparts bordered the village of 'La Savoie', nestled at the foot of the château. They linked the Porte de l'Hortet to the Porte du Four de Ville and stood on the current site of the town hall and the church. Some remnants of the wall can still be seen to the left of the town hall, where the seigniorial prison was located.

Saint Pierre-ès-Liens, the commune's parish church, is built in the Classical style. Construction began in 1695, as the former Saint Pierre-ès-Liens parish church had become too small to accommodate the villagers due to the growth of the village (growth due in part to the operation of the quarries from the 15th century).

From the street, visitors can admire the porch bearing the coat of arms of the Le Roure family, the three wings surrounding the courtyard, the décor of supporting wall ties on the ground floor and the elegance of the large windows. The present church is known to be built on the site of a Roman place of worship. The first Christian chapel was built there in the 10th century. All that remains of the 12th century Romanesque church is the semi-circular apse, followed by a window surmounted by a cupola which supports a bell tower and a nave with three vaulted broken barrel bays.

The restaurant, in a former coaching inn, consists of 2 small rooms combining old stonework and resolutely contemporary materials. Françoise and Alain are in the kitchen and infuse the cuisine with a 'different' spirit to that of the region. From the bread to the desserts, all the dishes are prepared creatively. The menus change according to the season and the trends and desires of the moment. There is a terrace behind the restaurant, shaded from the wind and the times.
