At the 'Pas de Bouquet' (Saint Victor district), on the edge of Boulbon, there was an old Gallo-Roman 'villa', where remains of pottery, mosaics, urns, hearth cavities and statuettes have been found. Saint Victor is on the old road which led from Tarascon to Avignon, along the west of the hill. The construction of this Romanesque chapel dates back to the end of the 9th century. The first official Act to mention it came from the Saint Agricol d'Avignon Chapter in 1155.

Sambuc Church was part of a commission issued in 1636 by Monseigneur de Barrault for the construction of six parish churches in Camargue. The Bishop wanted to fight against the de-Christianisation of the region. Its façade was rebuilt in 1656 and its roof was replaced at the end of the 19th century. Nothing remains of the original altars, baptismal fonts and sculpted fonts made of dressed stone. A second construction was attached later when the nave was extended.

Built in 1909, this fountain pays tribute to the River Durance which flows to the north of Châteaurenard. Its inscription, 'Eici, l’aigo es d’or' (Here, water is gold) reveals the importance of this river, not only for the Châteaurenard region, but also for a large part of the Pays d'Arles. Its canalisation and distribution throughout the territory by means of a hydraulic network of small streams and canals allowed a flourishing fruit and vegetable production industry to develop on this arid or marshy land.
