Frédéric Mistral had his tomb built in 1907, before his death in 1914; it is a very faithful replica of the Pavillon de la Reine Jeanne in Les Baux-de-Provence. On the bell which sounded his death-knell and announced his loss, there is an engraving of a 1907 poem called 'Moun toumbéu' (My tomb'). It was engraved several days before his death and it was when Mistral went to admire the sculptor's work in the church that he caught a chill and died. Architectural description

Behind its 19th century façade, Saint Denis parish church conceals a great Romanesque nave and a beautiful Gothic chancel. In the side-naves, woodwork and paintings by Mignard adorn the different altars of the rural brotherhoods. The eyes are drawn to the bell tower, which was originally a 'watch tower'. Until the Revolution, the church, the only important 'public space', was a place where the public could come together. Its architecture follows the town's demographic growth. This place

This church was built on the site of an old chapel which probably dated back to the 12th century. The building was at risk of collapse around 1930. It was therefore fully renovated at the end of the 1930s, mainly through the generosity of Mlle de Jonquières, who financed a large part of the work and paid for a new altar.

This chapel is located on private property by the side of the Chemin de Saint-Véran. The quality and perfect stone-setting of this building, most of which is in ruins, make it one of the most characteristic in Romanesque Provence. It had a single nave, with a barrel vault resting on transverse arches and built around a semi-domed apse; on each side of the entrance to the apse were rubble stones decorated with foliage with plant and geometrical designs. There was a side chapel to the south.

The Commandery of Saint Luce consists of a series of buildings of very high architectural quality. They have the characteristics of a huge Provençal residence from the late Middle Ages. The history of the building has been seriously affected by religious events. It first housed Templars and then, after their dramatic suppression, it housed the Order of Malta. Building portal: The building portal, which has been fully restored, still has its flamboyant late 15th century décor. The building itself is built around a courtyard with a well.
