The Jules Mausoleum: this funeral monument dates back to 30-20 BC. It was erected by the Julii, descendants of one of the major Roman families, in honour of their father and grandfather. It is particularly well preserved and owes its fame to its distinctive structure, which is unique to Roman architecture as we know it today.

Nestled in the Valley of La Fontaine, near the old wash house, is an elegant Renaissance-style corner pavilion built by Jeanne de Quiqueran, widow of Honoré des Martins, Baron of Les Baux from 1568 to 1581. Frédéric Mistral had a copy made for his tomb in Maillane. The site has been baptised 'Temple of Love' by the Félibres, writers in Occitan, in memory of the legendary lessons in love given there. This small temple was build according to a hexagonal plan.

Its name comes from the Mausoleum of Les Antiques. This former monastery near Les Antiques, which has been transformed into a health spa, still has its church and a Romanesque cloister which opens onto four barrel vaulted galleries. A large alley leads to this peaceful site, which is famous for having housed Van Gogh (1889-1890). The monastery also welcomed another famous guest, Doctor Schweitzer (1914 to 1918).

Croix de la Durance (The Cross of the Durance) Together with the Cross of the Grey Penitents, this cross dominates the Orgon landscape. It stands above the Durance Valley, on the Port Vieux cliff, as a symbol of Christian faith visible by villagers and travellers from many miles away. The Cross at the Porte la Durance This cross overlooks the Porte de la Durance fountain; here is a drawing of the cross by René Fages in the monograph he co-wrote with Louis Tertian. This Place, in the heart of town, has always symbolised meetings and exchanges. In Antiquity the square was next to the main forum (late 1st century BC), and the economic and political centre of the Roman administration; in the Middle Ages it became the main centre for commercial transactions. It is now known as one of the most social areas in town. Locals and tourists rub shoulders under the patronage of a number of well-known figures such as Vincent Van Gogh and Frédéric Mistral.

Built in 1909, this fountain pays tribute to the River Durance which flows to the north of Châteaurenard. Its inscription, 'Eici, l’aigo es d’or' (Here, water is gold) reveals the importance of this river, not only for the Châteaurenard region, but also for a large part of the Pays d'Arles. Its canalisation and distribution throughout the territory by means of a hydraulic network of small streams and canals allowed a flourishing fruit and vegetable production industry to develop on this arid or marshy land.
